Volunteer at the Lighthouse

A vision is only a dream until others add their light making that dream come true.  The Circle of Light Volunteer Staff is a dedicated group of individuals who bring to the Lighthouse what they already love to do:  enhancing, embracing and encircling the dream of the Lighthouse Children's Theatre.

Without the support of our dedicated volunteers, the Lighthouse would not exist. No matter your gifts, you can share them with the children of our communities! Whether it be graphic or web design, sewing, singing or just a passion for working with kids, the Lighthouse needs you!

The first questions to ask when finding a place to shine in the Lighthouse is:

• What do I love to do? 
• What fills me with joy?
• What lights me up?
  
When you answer those questions, you've found your light and what we want you to bring it to the Lighthouse! 



• Do you love music? Singing? Playing an instrument? We have a place for you as we prepare for our musicals!
• Do you love to draw? Paint? Sculpt? You will have so much fun using those talents as we create the sets for our productions. 
  
• How about sewing? Do you love to create things with a needle and thread? Our costume department will be happy for you to join them!
  
• Do you like building things?  You'll love working with our set crew! 
• What about photography? We could use your help getting pictures taken before and after our productions!
• How about working with children? Do you love to watch a child's face light up when they realize they can do something really well?
  
  Whatever your light, there's a place for you in the Circle!

If you would like to volunteer and don't see a position that fits you, please don't hesitate to let us know how you'd like to help. We welcome everyone who embraces our mission, and we would love to have you aboard the Lighthouse Staff!
